The Global Youth Innovation Journey (GYIJ) is a flagship youth leadership and innovation program of FEAV Foundation (Canada). Hosted annually in Canada, GYIJ brings together young people from around the world to build skills, networks, and projects that create real impact.
The Story of GYIJ
GYIJ was created from a powerful realization: young people everywhere have ideas, passion, and potential — but lack the platforms to be seen, heard, and supported.
In 2025, FEAV Foundation observed that young leaders wanted opportunities to:
- learn real leadership skills.
- connect with peers from other countries
- build innovative solutions.
- access mentorship.
- experience the world beyond their borders.
Most programs were too expensive, too exclusive, or disconnected from real impact.
So FEAV asked:
What if we created a journey — not just a conference — that transforms young people into global innovators?
This question became the seed of GYIJ.
